Bad Blogger

It’s been a whole month since I blogged something, who would have thought it?

I suppose I’m not as opinionated as I used to be, or maybe I’ve become jaded by life itself. I’ve seen many blogworthy topics over the last few weeks and yet I’m suffering from writers ennui. I seem to be deleting more than I write nowadays…

So what has happened in the last month? I’m still in the world of work, earning cold hard cash. I best make the most of it as I’m only contracted until the end of October, but hopefully by then I’ll have lots of cash saved and finding another job wont be as difficult.

I finally got rid of my old Volvo, mainly because it would have cost me more than the car was worth to fix it up, so no point really. Luckily the lovely LoopyLoo and her new hubby gave me a car, yup, you heard right, they gave me a car!! It certainly isn’t the best car on earth but it gets me to work and back and it has made my life much easier. It’s only after you have been without a car for a period of time you realise how much you rely on the damn things.  I’m hoping that in a few months time I’ll be able to afford something a bit more reliable, but I need to save up first. It might be a handy little runaround for my area but I wouldn’t fancy driving it to the wilds of Wales.

I’m also having trouble sleeping again, I think it’s because it’s too light in the mornings. I always seem to wake up around 5am then lie there until it’s time to get up, which seems like such a waste of time. So this evening I’m going to invest in new curtains to see if a darker room makes any difference.

I’m already complaining about Spring! I can’t believe it! After what seems like the longest winter ever I’m moaning about the sunshine!!! At least I can get back into walking the countryside again, I need it too, this spare tyre around my waist needs to go, not to mention the triple chin!
